Hālau Wa'a Episcopal:
Hālau Wa'a Episcopal is a hui, or collective, of spiritually focused small affinity groups that get together weekly. These spiritual groups might be likened to wa'a or canoes, on journeys of their own.
Currently, Hālau Wa'a Episcopal have wa'a focused on adult confirmation/leadership training, youth confirmation, bread making, hockey, kanikapila, and golf. Initially a group of strangers, we now see friendships and community developing in the short amount of time the wa'a have met in-person prior to meeting solely on-line. Add spirituality through a simple reading of scripture or prayer, and you now have the recipe for the wa'a of Hālau Wa'a Episcopal; a mode of spiritual transport, taking us on an even deeper journey into the world of God, and God’s world in us. Each wa'a meets weekly, to live into community with each other through their chosen activity, on a mutually agreeable day and time. On Sundays, the wa'a come together to celebrate the Living Word.
